Three-Dog Daycare

The Dogs

My client lives in a large suburban home with three older black Lab mixes. They are all rescue animals whose personalities range from exuberant to quietly affectionate.

The Job

My client’s work requires her to be away from home one full day every week. I visit the dogs three times on those days: once in the morning, once in the afternoon, and once late at night. I let the dogs out into the back yard, play with them, feed them, take them on walks, and spend quiet time with them. They all give me a very enthusiastic greeting when they see me pull into the driveway. I also bring in the client’s mail and any parcels that may have been delivered to her. On one occasion, when my client was involved in an automobile accident and was significantly delayed returning home, I made an emergency trip to her house to let the dogs out and feed them.
