The Dog
A close friend of mine rescued this one-year-old mixed breed from a dangerous situation and asked me to help care for him. The dog is now owned by the Lucas County Pit Crew, a diverse group of people who are fiercely dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating dogs and placing them in good permanent homes. I am working closely with my friend on this project.
The Job
While this dog is in foster care, I have been walking him four times a day, driving him to an enclosed play area where he can run around, and generally assisting with his care and training. As a somewhat more experienced dog owner, I also give guidance on his medical, psychological, nutritional, and exercise needs.
