These clients (Ed, Jenn, and their four children) were having some significant work done on their house: roofing, replacement of ceilings and floors, bathroom renovations, and computer system upgrades. They wanted to be on vacation in Florida while the work was proceeding, but also wanted someone on hand to watch over the construction, be there when the workmen were present, and report to them daily on the progress. They also needed someone to care for Mary Ellen, a sweet eight-month old kitten who loved to fetch and wanted me to throw her toy for her over and over and over . . . .

It is a pleasure to recommend James F. Trumm, who worked with our family as a house-sitter in the winter of 2015. During his tenure, we found him to be an extremely reliable and dedicated individual. In fact, he truly went above and beyond the call of duty.
While we were away, Mr. Trumm managed many scheduling and maintenance tasks with the highest level of reliability. His work and attention-to-detail were always better than perfect, and we were updated daily via email with the keenest of details regarding general information and progress. He was extremely proficient in dealing with various contractors while we were gone and maintained professionalism at all times. Also, while not formally hired to be our cat-sitter, Mr. Trumm was quite helpful in the day-to-day care and needs of our family cat, bonding with her and keeping her entertained.
